That guy reminded me of the way we keep on heading into the future without really knowing what comes next. Being able only to see into a time horizon of perhaps some days and still somehow trying to get along with anything we might be facing.
I don't know if I should clone off that car at the right. Would that make it better?
Thanks a lot once again for the nice detailed comment, Andre! It seems that I am a big fun of such images like those of graphic novels or comic books, and I really couldn't even imagine that.
I also think now, after your and Paul's comments, that the car is OK, but still I wished I had pressed the shutter a bit earlier for having some more of it on the photo. Oh well, timing again... ;-)
Well yes, Paul, our minds are only able to regain what has already happened and in this sense thoughts travel backward in time. Of course we can also know what *will* happen if we allow the apple to fall (Newton ;-)), but indeed we can't know much about the time evolution of complex systems. Thanks heavens, that is, lives are not apples! ;-)
As about the car, well, I am glad that you consider it OK as it is, since I had the impression that it was just a too little bit of it for adding some dynamics more.
Hi Nick, I like this composition too. As you say the image is very close to having a sort of graphic novel or comic book feel. The foot prints are a nice touch. I would leave the car in. Andre
Yeah, Aristotle said we travel "backward" through time, so something that just happened fills our thoughts, but something just about to happen can not be seen.
