Wonderful work, so beautiful. There is a proverb "early rising is 3 yen profit" in Japan. Although 3 yen is about 3 cents...The meaning of this proverb is not the problem of the amount of money... It is the meaning that there are a good thing and a fortunate thing in the early morning.... It is just fortunate that such a beautiful spectacle can be seen.

Take my thoughts and let them flow on early rising mist Then spread them in sun's orange glow so they will never twist
I'm speechless Steven, such beauty lays in early risings. Glad you've captured it in time.

Steven, I recently bought a F100. Can I expect from now on, all my shots will be as nice? Results like this can only come from getting up early. I like the lefting of the heavy mist and the new golden sky. My guess is using the grad fliter brought out the colour gold?

Fog can sometimes be an asset in a photo and sometimes it just makes everything murky. I think the key is to have the sun shining through, especially early in the morning -- exactly like this wonderful pic. Unfortunately I will never capture a scene as good as yours because I am not a morning person. If I was able to get up that early I'm sure I wouldn't be awake enough to find my camera, or coherent enough to ask someone to help me -- 2 or 3 coffees later might hold some promise but by then I'm sure I would have missed the light. Nice job.
