Hi Roby,
First of all thanks for stopping by and for your comment/tip. I also felt that a bit of light would have been more dramatic, but as you said the light was not the best. I really like your touch up on the picture.

Your picture is truly remarkable, perfect for the composition and use of the DOF.
The insect has a precision and detail very elegant, and your timing pleasant!
Personally, (and is my humble opinion) I find a good picture, but on you, you not were helped by the atmospherical-time!
The cloudy day has "flattened! The Three-dimensional-frame's and perhaps only with a flash of "lightining" would have been more light!
Certainly the post-production with little contrast use would increase the "depth".
Just perfect and the award!
