Thank you for commenting Shirley.Just a snapshot taken from a window of my son's new flat in Madrid.He lives in a loft just under the roof and the main challenge was walking up the 102 steps(no lift) to reach his flat.The pentax coped with the exposure admirably!

Quite a dramatic effect! Just enough light in the sky to produce some attractive colours. Just enough darkness to provide a black backdrop for the beautifully illuminated centre-piece of the image.

Nice shot and well composed. The sky looks very good and makes an excellent background for this church. In the era of digital manipulation I am glad to see an image that looks good without being converted to an HDR. Not that I have anything against HDRs or Photoshop manipulations, they are great tools and enhance the possibilities, but I think they should be in a separate category. Amen!
