But this selective focus was too selective, I'm afraid, and selected only *some* of the flowers, while the rest of them is out of real sharp focus.

Yes, my DoF was not OK, Dave! I should have used some narrower aperture to get them all in focus and not like here, where some of them are OK and some of them soft.
