About The start of a new series named "The flora of Bernese Oberland". It was a cloudy rainy summer day some years ago somewhere in Bernese Oberland. The atmosphere was rather "wet", and so I thought that I could perhaps catch it on some images. So it's not "the "beauty of nature" that this series should convey, but simply the atmosphere of a rainy summer day, when the colors say that it is summer, and the dimmed day under clouds says that it is not summer.

This one is a general view of the grass. The main colors ther were green and yellow, as you can see. Unfortunately not much of the colorful plentitude of different plants has remaained on most places of the Alps due to monoculture and fertilizers. There have been times when such places were full of all colors, I hear so many people say.
