A part of another graffiti but this time with a different intention.
I thought that only depicting the work of those people is perhaps not as creative, though of course a good shot of reality is an art for itself. I wanted to do something more with it, but I had my doubts considering if I should present the results. I do that only hoping that the unkown guys that created the graffiti would not take me for a plagiarist that simply takes advantage of their anonymity and presents work that is based on their work. I do it only in the sense of perhaps revealing one of the infinite possibilities to present *their* work in a different way.
This one is a tripple exposure with parts taken out of three different graffiti works. The first one that I took was that of the bird-like shape. It is actually a part of a Micky-Mouse-like face on a wall in Zurich. But the shape of the one half of the face reminded me too strongly of the many too many icons of saints in christian orthodox churches. As a completely disrespectful guy against all religion I had to play with that in irony.
I tried to construct such an icon that resembles the byzantine "holy icons" of the about 3784 saints - there is a saint for everything! You have a problem with your fridge? Simply pray to st. fridge and he will take care of that. ;-)
So I add the next one to the liga, saint chicken, protector of the chickens and turkeys (and also sparrows, parrots and anything with feathers), of which only the bones remain when christmas arrives. (The bones of those bombarded by christianity do not seem to be important while eating birds for silly celebrations. ;-))
Oh, and for not being misunderstood, I am not biased towards any religion at all. For this one exchanging "cristianity" with any other religion would not change a single thing. Slaughtering, supressing, murdering - and being laughable in the wish to show "seriosity".
