Excellent POV and a unique capture to be sure!! Good job grasshopper!! For some reason the sky has a darker blue band at the top . . . though it's not a distraction here. Excellent subject too! Impressive!

There ya go, a very interesting photo and subject.
Yup, I believe you are right. If you look at the pipe coming out the bottom and leading to the garage, it is an oil can for an oil heater... most probably.

Take care, Michele!

Hi aLi ,
Thank You for the comment and helpful thoughts on this rusty barrel...I meant to say fuel since we have plenty of water around here... 'like diesel fuel but who knows some people are pickey about water over here too and actually pay for it ...well more do than don't .
I am surrounded by 3 very clean rivers, and this house is next to a lake ..I have 'well water' bbutttttt that doesn't mean it can'nt still be for water -lol!
Many Thanks , Michele~

great image...subject and colors...I bet that is NOT the best way to have water for...hahaha...pretty rusty! Very good point of view my friend. Oil? hehehe....even that cannot be stored there...I bet that can will be crushed by the weight! :-D Be well!

Really good shot Michele, the can could be for oil central heating (the bungalow where I'm moving to has the same kind of tank/can outside),the rusty can makes the image very interesting

Nice shot Michele.. I like the composition here.. mmm I'm not sure .. but in some little villages in dry parts of Iran, they have the same kinda thing, which they use for storing water.. as there are many days a month that their tap water is shut.. I don't think it's that logical to keep oil in a steel container outside as it might explode after the first few hours of sunshine.. anyway.. not sure about any of the things I said!!! haha !! My very best wishes... aLi
