It does not last long - pity! I found the same thing when living in Alberta. Fall is my favourite season and some years it lasts almost 3 months on the coast. The bit of blue is great for contrast and there is some mystery with the disappearing road.

Wonderful pair of complementary colors - yellow and blue! And a fantastic amount of sharpest details! You brought the atmosphere of such a bright autmun day into an image, Dave! Perhaps a bit more of the street and of the sky - moving a step backward?

I know are leaves down here low won't loose their leaves until December. Spotty here at the moment down low. I wanting for the grapevines to get in full color. Excellent image here.
