A natural abstract - this is how I perceive it, Fabio! It is very interesting to see how some very natural view can be captured on an image that then carries also many elements of an abstract. I don't find the DoF that weird - quite the contrary, it seems to fit very well that abstract character. If one looks a bit longer with some additional half-closing the eyes, then the image appears very 3-D due to the different sizes of the thistles - much like being in different distances form the spectator. And by continuation of this view, after some seconds one sees something that could also be a constellation of stars, or atoms in a some molecule. The reduced color palette helps very much too in seing such things here.
Hey ho, really nice catching up your works after a long gap. It refreshes my impressions I had during last visit. Personally speaking, one of the interesting elements in almost all your works is that even the thumbnails like their enlargements give their own kind of thrill. This picture specially made me think loud on the same with you :) Thanks for sharing your works. Inspiring! Cheers! (yes, it's my longest comment too ;)Done!)
