This is a very beautiful picture!
I love the tones of this one, and i would not care much if that brown line was air pollution; I think it compliments the whole composition with a variety of smoothly shifting tones. and this whole scene and the mood it carries, ends up in the man standing on the cornder, attributing to him some sort of tranquility, peace...

A wonderful scene. Looks like there's a little pollution in the air - but at least it echoes the colour of the sand! The person standing on the beach really helps give this image scale.
