These must have been wonderful to see. Smoke can cause some pretty effects. Both are great captures.

Oh, I forgot to add that I like how you paired these two phenomenon's up... both occuring days apart from eachother. Seems almost like signs from the bible doesn't it? I also like how you under exposed the sun photo so it looks more like a moon. REALLY, really well done!!

Wow, Dean... we had the smoke here in Sacramento too.. it came all the way from Susanville, over 100 miles away. I missed this morning's sun through the haze but heard it was an outstanding phenomenon. Your photo makes it look better than anything I imagined!!! Just WOW!!! Thanks for taking the picture and sharing it!! 7+++ (in my favs it goes)
