About This, if you do not know, is a leather stringing tool. At least that is what we call it in the Colonies. I own it because it keeps my baseball glove in top shape. When a leather string breaks, from wear or age, I need this tool to replace the binding. I have played, in my life, baseball in one form or another, for 35 of my 49 years. The current baseball glove I own has been with me for 22 years and I have used this tool several times to keep it in playing shape. Even though I have not played in any kind of baseball/softball league for nearly 10 years... I still keep my glove in perfect condition. My baseball glove holds my dreams... this tool protects them.

Looking back, I should have wound a bit of leather stringing through the eye. That would have set the "shine" off a bit... ah well, live and learn.
