About This 1950s Studebaker Lark was shot under a full moon at 11:30 PM during a 3 minute, 4 second exposure. No photoshopping other than removal of hot pixels and light unsharp mask.

The interior was color painted using a Coleman camping lantern. During the exposure, I lit the tail lamp with an LED flashlight. No flashes were used on this.

Thank you, Mary. Wish I had more opportunity to do this, it is a lot of fun. I need to make friends with some junkyard owners.

Best wishes,
Dave

Great shot! Very nice work with the lights and exposure. I'm also a sucker for sunflowers, being from Kansas.

Thank you, Andre. You are right, it is still in pretty good shape but little by little it is being stripped for hard-to-find Studebaker parts.

Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks, John. Believe me, nothing worked on this car. I lit up the tail lamp with a small LED flashlight.

Best to you,
Dave

Thanks, Brigitte... STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!

Hey, even the neighbor warned me to watch out for the rattlers on this property. But I just talk to them and they leave me alone. You can call me the snakewhisperer.

Best,
Dave

You were very creative with the lighting and time exposure. Very nice results!

Cool..... love that greenish glow on the windshield and the daisies... gives it that "Flower child" 50's look... very unique image. Great composition... and that viper, wow surprised he didn't bite you he appears that close.. don't know how you managed that... really cool how you got him in too! 7+++
