About I removed from 50 years (? - maybe) old sciopticon lens with focal lenght 80 mm (reputedly), like macro lens with my camera worked very well. Minimalistic DOF is fantastic. This "macro lens" is soft and have awesome strong chromatic aberration, which have sometimes specific charm. Example of this all is this photo. Flower on photo isn't not even 1cm long. Contours over lines are just mentioned chromatic aberation.
