I just love this image. Although male/female contrast is pronounced the stark toning gives the image a slightly impersonal, almost sexless quality. Yet the eye can escape neither the carved muscular upper half of the image nor the soft face and hint of nipple below. Like much dance, there's something smouldering just below the surface here.
