Thanks Nick for all your support. Your detailed comments are very useful and I appreciate it. The corals in shallow areas like in the picture are usually brownish but also with some other colors. Corals come in all sorts of colors on the reefs and its always very pleasing when snorkeling and diving. I have always wanted an underwater camera, but havent been able to get one yet. For me diving is the best past time, always thrilling and great. Here is a shot of some corals on a reef seen from above the water. This was on an exceptional low tide, not common. Otherwise the heat would kill them. Warm regards, Ahmed

You are very welcome, Ahmed. I do think very much about your work.
And, oh, so you you make some shots of the corals too? What color are they? Red?
Best wishes,
Nick

Thanks Nick for the comment and crop idea. The way you have cropped brings out the geometry like you have mentioned. I do like the idea, as the geometry of the villas was the main attraction in the shot. The foreground is like that because this is a very shallow lagoon with a lot of corals. Warm reards, Ahmed

A nice idea, Ahmed, to play with human made geometry embedded in natural shapes! Sharpness worked great form the tends to the background but the foreground reveals a rather fuzzy look - was it blurry by the moving waves?
Anyway, here I have another crop that I think makes the tents be more prominent and thus makes that geometry stronger, but unfortunately much of the palm forest is then gone.
Best wishes,
Nick

A very tight crop to enhance the geometry of the tents |

Very nicely composed image Ahmed... It looks like a very nice place for a resort alright :)) I do like B+W at times but in this scene I think it would be better in color just because it is soooooo beautiful where You are because of the colors..... Regards, Michele~

You keep teasing me with these photos. Now stop it.
Very interesting, almost abstract-like with the curving with roofs... Nice capture, Ahmed! I'd bet this is beautiful in color, too.
Best wishes, Dave
