It was raining heavily. Early evening in Gangtok. I suddenly noticed this young trainee Lama roaming around around the bakery for a while. After a while, when he found that I was the only man noticing him, while the other man around was busy on his cellphone, he game me short glare and went inside the bakery to order something delicious. May be it was a day of fasting for him, but the smell of food was intimidating ... all my guesswork..
Thanks Shirley! I actually wanted to capture the fact that I was shooting from inside a car and hence deliberately kept the window glass halfway through the frame. By the time I realised the output is not reflecting what I wanted to capture, it was too late - by that time, the monk was inside the cafe - I could head him order but could not see his head which was obstructed behind something.
Too bad about the reflection on your window, but I enjoyed your about and your speculation on what the story might be. I enjoy wondering what people's stories are as I observe them, too.:)
