I agree with you on the foreground. When I took this sewries of shots we were sitting under a cloud shadow,therefor the dark foreground. I tried the shadows and highlights tool in PS, but that didnt have the desired effect.

Thanks Shubadip. I think you are right wrt the contrast. The problem I have is that the photo was not taken in RAW but jpeg.Thus leaving me very little to play with.

Beutiful shot - really emphasizes the vastness of this great continent. The sky is fantastic. Perhaps a little more play with contrast would have made this picture a gorgeous one. But still I love this shot as it is.
