A triple exposure for light and geometry. perhaps the top part should be cropped off in such a way that the tip of the light cube is exactly at the top edge of the image?
and many many thanks forthe great detaield comment. I am inclined to follow your thoughts about the cropping, which I indeed think would be better as you suggest. So I include the cropped image - I do think that it is better.
As about your problems with the soft images, well, could it be that you are in autofocus mode? If so, then turn to manual focus. Autofocus simply doesn't work all the time well enough. (Though legend has that it does work sometimes ;-)) But it is not because of the Sigma, excpet of course if you were so unlucky to get some defect pachage, which I do not believe, since Olympus is a very very careful company. (All components are individually tested.)
Just don't believe the promises of autofocus and try manual focus - or best of all, turn everything manual! ;-) But lame you are not - definitely not!
Hey Nick! I am amazed... good work-a fine abstract again! About the cropping: it is good as it is, but cropping a bit from the upper part would perhaps make it even more attractive. The colours are very enjoyable and vivid, I like the rainbow-effect. Regards PS:I am trying to shoot with my new camera, but the results are rather terrible: i am getting soft images all day-as if they were out of focus, any idea how to acquire sharper ones? Am I lame,or it is the fault of the cheap sigma 18-50?
