LOL! Yes, Reza, this is her truck!
And while I took advantage of the big tire for optical effect, this truck really IS this big. Notice how the rear-view mirror is over her head.
She's a very sweet girl, and is really proud of her truck.

I love this perspective because it makes the truck look like a monstertruck which I adore:-)) Nice sky and good natural pose from your friend. Take care Annemette

Excellent work my friend! Love the sky and perspective. Excellent job on the colors as well. I definitely like the detail in the tire as Irene does attract all of the attention. The detail in the tire is a bonus. Ohh, Like the composition a lot! Well done Sir!

I love what you do with this distortion thing. I'm not sure what the new challenge is all about, but from the title alone I thought to myself, "I bet Paul's photos with the truck and little girl would go PERFECTLY!" :)

Here's an almost-original shot for comparison, Sal. I see the parking sign on the wall had already been cloned out, so I'm assuming I'd already cropped it as well.

I intentionally shot at f/11, Avi. I wanted it all to be crisp. I know there's been a suggestion to blur the tire, but Irene's strong enough, that she doesn't need it.
Thanks!

I don't know, Dev. Thanks to Photoshop, I can try it with a gradient and the lens blur filter.
I'll try to post it tonight.

Actually, I just went to one knee and took a blind shot for this. At a field of view of 102 degrees, it's not hard at all to shoot that way.
The real trick with ultra-wide angle lenses is to keep them pointed straight ahead. When you're shooting people, tilting the camera up or down can create rather unflattering distortion.
Thanks for the comments, Glinda.

Cool shot Paul. Liked everything in this. Just wondering how the pic would turn out with a small aperture value and blurring out the tyre a bit?

Very cool angle. The artificial sky goes well with the overall cleverness of the shot. You must have bruised your knees and elbows on the asphalt, though. Beautiful work.

Thanks, Michael. The problem with tilting my lens up toward her is that this lens (effective 17mm focal length) is VERY sensitive to keystoning. Tilting up would have stretched her face too much, so I framed my shot with the camera kept mostly level.
The original sky was pretty bland, so I replaced it with something more interesting.

I like angle, I would have been a little more down and up at her with the lens. I like the clouds back there. But that's not the shot HA! I remember one of my friends looking at Cody's picture (my model/friend)and he only comments her white shoes, "I told him" you looking at her shoes? haha....
