Although harmless, they can inflict a painful bite if cornered. They grow to about 12-14inches ( 30-40 cms ) long, fairly thick body and COLD. Imagine the wife when she sees her 9 yo son with one sitting on his shoulders !!

This fellow lives in my garden as well as FIVE others! They make great pets, aeting snails, dog and cat food, although they are allergic to citrus ... Thanks for your comment, Pranab. JD
