hey michele, thank you for your kind words. At first i questioned it too, if i should do this, but when i looked at the difference in power between this enhanced picture and the original (below), this was the better idea. And the black beam i added, makes the composition better balanced i think.

Beautiful composition Marco- and warm range of wonderful sun-set colors ... I especially like the geometric lines and the BEAM you covered the sun with ...lol!!
You are amazing as I can't say I've seen this action taken before AND discribed ...ha!! It makes me laugh but the result worked very well !!!!!!!
