Sad to hear this news. They are truly some beautiful trees when flowering. Hopefully they will plant more in the area so that future generations can enjoy the beauty of them one day. Take care my friend! Dwight

Dwight. Some sad news on these beautiful trees your wife loves. They have come to there use by date. Two or three of them just fell over and now they are chopping a few more down. Hopefully some of them will still be there for a year or two more. Apparently they have become to big for there root system. Real shame. Keith

Thanks Nacho. The sad part here is a number of these trees are being chopped down. They have become to big for there old roots. A couple of them just fell over. Cheers Keith

Dwight. Yes they are pretty old. Dont know there age though. They are flowering again now so i should go and take some more. That one was taken with a little point and shoot Fuji which does a good job but hopefully would be able to better that with both my wife's Fuji 5600 and my Pentax. Thanks for your comment. Cheers Keith

Beautiful scene! The purple is my wifes favorite color and as I was viewing the images in your portfolio she she this and gave a "OH WOW" :-) I don't believe the jacarandas here get this large, or perhaps these are very old. Nice colors and detail. Regards, Dwight
