Well my presence does'nt help the pic very much but if you take me out it really changes the total meaning that I intended to convey! As far as the lighting the only source is the ceiling lite which really doesn't highlite the photo as much as I would have liked. If I add more light to the shot it ruins the contrast lines that I purposely framed. Anyway here is a B & W version (attached to this comment) if you would like to see how it looks in that format. i like the composition here and the theme but there's something about it that doesn't quite work for me. I think it's the color and the lighting - or maybe the combination of both. I'd like to see a version in b&w or duotone.

after several tries I finally got into a position that did'nt totally muck up the shot before the timer went off! It probably would have been a better shot without me in it!
