Duluth is a lovely small town! I really enjoy going up there whenever I can. Its usually a lot cooler up there in the summer and fall its an incredible place to visit! It hasn't changed very much at all in the 30 yrs I've been going up there!

Yes... but Duluth always features heavily in accounts of his legend... interesting to see that the background that shaped him looks like it hasn't changed all that much.

Yes Duluth and Superior Wisconsin (which is on the other side of the bay) are typical Hard hat towns very industrial! The legend you are refering to Robert Zimmerman (Dylan) actually lived in Hibbing, Minnesota which is located on the iron range about 2 hours north of Duluth. I was never a real big Dylan fan but I really like a lot of his music that was done by other artists i.e. (watchtower- Jimi Hendrix). Thanx for the nice comment Patrick! Joey

Very interesting composition... I was really taken by the contrast between the hard, industrial subject and the airy, dreamy clouds in the background, but also the way they're linked by colour. Then I noticed this was taken in Duluth... as a fan of one particularly famous ex-resident's music (nasal voice, curly hair, poet, living legend) I was interested to see what kind of place it is today.... it looks like it's still primarily an industrial town... is that right?
