Hi Richard,
Excellent work here. Not only the composition and colours, but also the contrasting subjects. The cold snow vs the warm sun.The first thing that came to mind when I saw that sky was a furnace, bringing warmth to this frozen world. Well Done!

This is a damn fine shot with exacting color balance, tones, and sharpness. Nice and crisp.
Very textbook in the design, early morning/sunset with a wide angle lens. Nice foreground detail with something of interest and a nice wide recession back into a nice midground elements and cloudscape. Looks like a lot of planning and work to pull this one off. Probably needed a grad filter as well.
