An old tradition in DC. In the summer the local Marine Barracks on Capitol Hill have a parade within their walls every Friday evening. It is a very interesting event. The Marines skillfully toss their bayonet rifles, they work in deafening silence and click their steel boots with such precision and unison. It is a truly unique experience. I managed to capture the moment where the sole trumpet player plays at the top of the barracks with the band below. In the back you will see the residence of the base commander.
