About Not him...the Iraq War.

Our leaders said, "Trust us, we know where the weapons are."
Our leaders said "This war should last 6 days, six weeks - I doubt 6 months"
Our leaders said "Six months from now, you'll see the progress."

We now enter our fifth year of this needless, bloody and tragic adventure.
More than 1100 cities held ceremonies marking the sad occasion.

This is one image from the San Antonio vigil, and I hope the war doesn't continue so long that this beautiful child of God gets thrown into the meat grinder to satisfy the need for more tanks, more guns, more bullets, more death.

No more death. Please

Good shot Paul. After 4 (or 6 +) years of constant, countless lies how ANYBODY can believe ANYTHING the US Gov. says is just way beyond my comprehension...I don't get it.......

I really like the composition here and the tone, Paul.
I really wish I knew the real intent behind this war. Not that it would help but it would be nice to know the truth about why so many people are being killed. I admit I have speculated many reasons but after more thought I am sure we will never know the verisimillitude of the matter.
I agree, no more death please.
Great image.

Wonderful street shot of this little guy, Paul! Fortunately he probably doesn't know much about the cause on his sign yet, and as you say, hopefully he won't have to in his future years. I like the way you've isolated him, and your POV(photographically!) here.
Dave.

Having one brother in the navy and another that just signed on, I would love to see this come to a close.
