About Loved the pattern of this big tree's base. It has volume, which the light enhances.
I'm not really into nature, wildlife photography. This image came to me while inspired by Ansel Adams' autobiography and many other books - I won't list them now. It's very easy to get involved by his passionate words :-)
Shot handheld with old and long gone 32 ASA Kodak Panatomic-X. I developed the negative. It was scanned from it. It was shot in the early 90's.
