There are not that many about here, they've been replaced by the less interesting modern sort.
I think they send them all to malta, there is a place there that has hundreds of them all stacked up.

This is extra nice Meg... Love that feeling of *history* again in this... Both in the scene itself with, as Jan said ~~GRIN~~ Dr Who's phone box... sadly these have been phased out here... All horrible glass and steel horrors...
The sign, Bronte Parsonage, the words themselves hold the written word up high... :) ~~GRIN~~ and always practical to knopw where the *Loo* is...

LOL! I never thought about Dr Who....
This Is Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters and it’s about five miles from my home, it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside. There is also the Worth Valley railway close by where you can see steam trains still running a regular daily service along a private track.
I hope your daughter and her husband enjoy their stay here, we have an abundance of museums of every kind here and of course the country is steeped in history!
It’s also a good time to come as the worst of the winter weather is past us now and spring is just around the corner.

I like this a lot, Meg. Very quaint and beautiful colors. The phone booth seems a bit small and the wrong color for Doctor Who but I expect him to step out any minute to visit the Museum. My daughter & son-in-law heading over to UK soon and they are very much looking forward to the time they have scheduled there. They will be doing serious museum visits with most of the time in London.
