Thank you for your comments on my photos, Malin -- I came to see who you are and what you see, and I must say THIS is the photo that jumped out at me when I came to your portfolio.
Very well captured, tones and textures are perfect. You give us a sense of a life here, with nothing more than an old boot. Marvelous!

when I was a little girl we moved into an old farm house that had been previously occupied by nuns, most of whom had died in the home, there was an old outbuilding there with unsteady floors and a second story upon which you watched carefully upon which board you stepped so as not to fall through... once while navigating my way through the bottles marked with skull and crossbones and other cast offs of a life left behind I found a boot similar to this, and in my mind this is just how I saw it, a sense of history, of mystery, of time suspended, for years I made up stories in my mind about she who had left it behind... beautiful tones - I love the feeling of desecration you've captured through your eye for texture.
