My first attempt in shooting indoor portraits with available light as the main lightsource and decent fill flash. In my eyes there are too many distracting elements in the photo. What about the lighting? I'm more used to studio lighting...
The lighting is very nice - successful! Distractions, yes - but - her eyes draw you back in from each venture out....making a connection to her and the props, which is what you want...correct? Perhaps it is her pose, but this shot lens more dignity to her, and the following shot lends more to the environment...imo, at first glance. But each photo has a ton of interesting elements.
