I really like the brightness of the photo except for the subject, surely does look like a dream. Excellent entry into "Alone" as well. Very thought provoking photo, Patrick.
Best wishes, Dave Arnold

When I look at this Patrick... I see different visual *blocks* or *panels*...
A back wall, denoted by the just off horizontal lines,at bottom and half way up the white space at rear of shot...
... and then these separate areas running from front of frame to the *back wall* also created by the stronger visible lines...
A plain path left...
Another *path,* broken by the brick and tree insets that the gentleman is about to step out of... and onto, the next plain path... and just a fraction of the next bricked section...
The position of the gent, body language, slightly raised foot on the very edge, is as if he is wondering should he take *that* step, *that* chance... step off...
The *sterility* of this, from the concrete, pavers, bare trees and the tones used, with the only emotive being a human being who's face we cannot see, is really strong...
Excellent Patrick... Gallery work...:)
Onie...

I like your high key treatment of this scene,as in your shot Whiteout, it is most effective and produces a striking image. best Wishes, Tony

Very dreamy and somewhat moody - good balance due to the trees position and the man. I like highkeyimages:-) Take care Annemette

Good high key tones, with good composition. The contrast of the figure really stands out. Regards

a beautiful postcard(ish scene). But why didn't you removed the line in the upper middle? Photoshop is not your thing?
