Great and appropriate use of blues for Poseidon. The dark tones add to the feeling of the power of the god. Very nice, indeed! Steve

Fabio, this picture has stolen my heart. Such great coloring in blue! Poseidon of the sea would have been pleased with this portrait of him... the blue sky is getting darker... it looks like it is going to storm.

Sweet shot! I love the composition.
You've got an awesome portfolio. Thanks for sharing your work and thanks for your comment on Expressionistic Verse in the Solid State; I laughed pretty hard when I read that.
Peace.

@julien: poseidon always was a very angry god, maybe the meremaid's roomservice was bad, maybe water pollution was worse in ancient times ? @stephan: it's a digital filter to achieve the vignetting. otherwise you would need a holga-like toycam for that effect:) @all: many thanks again for your very kind comments for such a piece of digi-crap:)

Is that one of the statues at Versailles? I really like the way you have made the sky the ocean. Excellent work. The corner darkness and soft focus is a very nice effect that works well to draw the viewer's eye into the scene.

ana, the red sea is dry, as I was informed :) poseidon also was responsible for earthquakes and, of course, it's the sky, where our mind let's loose and starts to swim, mary, you got it in a moment :)
and: it's MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY folks therefore, some marine allusions (or illusions) calling for help :)

Watery looking sky, "fuzziness" on part of the statue that could be from swirling water - very nice.
