Hey there Larry, I am a fan of the texture here.
I think that because the colours are all very much the same, the texture gives a boost.
I am torn between wanting the elephant facing towards me ....or admiring the back view...HMMMM.

The camouflage certainly works here as does the added texture... so, excellent for both you and the elephant... ~~GRIN~~...
Have a very small collection made by villagers in wood and clay... plus a ring... It's a hard world at times with civilisation, drought and poachers inflicting a toll...
Wonderful mammals with soul... and this is terrific... :)

I agree and you nailed it. I have tried similar things but have not quite gotten the hang of appropriate applying the right texture in the right degree. Your picture gives me a good example of how it should work, to look at when I try this again.

Larry - this is excellent where the selection of a texture works perfectly for the subject and the scene. I really enjoy this one.
