Thank you for your comment :) ... this shot was kind of hard, since it was in an opening of an exhibition !! it was so crowded. then again , in the background there was people standing but i loves those street lanterns so much !! so i metered my exposure on the statue, one step down , .. i remember that i went through more steps to get it right ... then i just increased the contrast a bit ..so neglect the whole background and get the lanterns only

this is a sculpture of one of the most famous artist in egypt.. and this photo was taken in one of egpyt's old palace turned now into gallery, the background was packed with people, i had to get very close to the statue then point meter on the statue it self. it was a one of the best shots for that day.
