Can't image why your mom would shoot you if she saw this! I think she'd be proud of it!

This is a lovely picture of your Mom, and glad you got to see your Mom. My mom is 80 years old , and she gets around better than I do, now I get around pretty good when I get out to do what I enjoy doing, I even feel young, you know when I am taking picture. excellent job on the picture.

Good point, you probably would loose all the detail in the head. I just think the shape of the lamp is a little distracting.

Thanks, Biljana. She's a tough old broad who raised 6 kids on her own since the 1950s. Still don't know how she did it.

Thanks, Angela. It is actually a window. I can't imagine turning it black, it would cause most of the head to blend with the background. I am open to suggestions or any expanded thoughts, though.
