Hi Doyle, I agree with your suggestions to make this better. I did feel that the two related images in today's posts lacked focus and were not as good as they should be. Thanks for you always helpful comments and I appreciate you taking the time to really look at my images!

Wow Alan . . . interesting concept but (to my eye) the OOF facter is distracting. Having read the comment here I understand that you've attributed this to the submerged leaves and I do very much like the 'Impressionist Painting' feel to the image . . . but the eye seems to seek a focal point to lock on to. I would suggest a leaf floating on the surface or some other focal point that you could lock in on would help this immensely . . . certainly an interesting concept.

Hi Neda, thanks for the comment. The leaves are partially submerged, so some of the seemingly out of focus look is from the water. I liked it because of the painterly look it gave to the leaves.
