uh...i was giving ya the biz-ness big time after reading the multi times you explained to others about his non-accident docked tail!...LOL...not easy trying to convey verbal inflections/tones with typing,eh?...just imagine Doylster saying what i write at times and that will translate the flavor better...i hope...hmmm?...kinda sorta...hehehe

Gayle...Marshall did not really lose his tail in an accident....Cockers have dock tails when they are about 3 days old....I'm not a fan of it and he was a pound rescue.....but I will admit to holding him prisoner in the garland. He is such a good spirit he would just stay for me. Glad it made you laugh....hope you are okay now.

awww, poor lil' critter...first he loses his tail in some gawd awful accident and then lands into a pile of garland where he is basically held prisoner whilst you go on shootin' him?...laughing...too..hard...difficult...to..continue.....and your hubby thinks HE has all the fun!

Thank you Mary, he is relaxed, but not sure how into the Christmas spirit he is. Think he would rather be sleeping.

Thank you Jan. I find it easier to decorate the dogs than than house. Haven't tried decorating the cats for sometime now.....December 1st comes around and the cats become scarce...not really, they are all 4 sleeping under the tree.

Marlyce -- I love this photo of Marshall - he is so patient with you as you doll him up with decorations. The grey adds character. What a saint! --Best to you, Jan

Marshall did not "lose" his tail. He is a Cocker Spaniel and in the U.S. they have their tails docked....so the tail is gone by surgery and not an accident. I had to clear that up as it seems several people thought he lost it to an accident. I thought you all knew he was a Cocker Spaniel. He is very well loved and just so you know.....Doyle wants to come back in his next life as one of my animals....he should be so lucky.

Michele, I have seen several comments about poor Marshall and got so upset. I have to set the story straight....Marshall is a Cocker Spaniel and in the U.S. their tails are docked....so they don't have one....nothing "bad" happened to his tail, although he was in the pound for 10 days. He now has a very happy home!

Michele, Marshall gets lots of love, he is not much for snacks except puperoni....most other snacks have become too hard for him to chew and he eats very slow.....but he did get a handful of the snacks, I think his biggest treat of the night was not having to pose as long as the other two did.

Thanks Annemette, the one thing I really wish I could capture on film with Marshall is his attitude. He is such a Eyeore, he even walks around with his head down.....I just know he lost his tail (he doesn't have one)We rescued him from the pound after he had been there for 10 days. He is extreemly patient and does have his happy moments....normally when it is time to eat or go to bed.
