About
Virgin River, Zion National Park. - Traditional rules of Landscape photography tells us that between 10am and 2pm when the Sun is overhead it is the least interesting time of day - In the narrow valley that is Zion NP much of the river is in shadow but when the Sun is almost overhead at 11am and strikes the canyon wall, parts of the river simply glow with the colour reflected from the Canyon - Polarizing Filter used.
Nice golden glow on the water, and well composed. The details help us to put the image in context, sometimes rules should definitely be broken. Regards, Gary
