Good idea and a nice looking image. To my eye, there are at least a couple of places where improvement could be made . . . and I offer them to you for your consideration but keep in mind, I think this is a good, fun image as it stands.
First the central stamen at the top floral isn't yellow like the others, it's still desaturated. While it's a minor point and time consuming too . . . the yellow stamens on the next two florals also seem to have the tips partially desaturated . . . possibly due to the feathering.
The red and green hairline framing choice (echoing the floral) was very nicely done . . . and makes for an intriguing, yet elegant, presentation . . .
So, overall, I think this can be improved . . . but that it's a fun image as it stands and certainly shows a bit of post-editing skill. Nicely done.

Color, texture, composition, choice of selective destaturation: these elements make this a doozie. So good that I mark this one as "Floral Eye Candy". So well done!
