kevin - thanks for your comment. I agree the photo has some color issues. Since it was uploaded directly from a digital camera, it's not a scan issue, but a polarizer is a great suggestion. When I took this photo, I was experimenting with film speed settings to try to understand film speeds on digital cameras. I think this example was taken at 1600.. other lower film speeds resulted in nicer color, but this example captured the expression on her face best. For posting I had to choose between color and expression, and I went with expression. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
I love this picture -- it emanates a serene dream. The only comment (and this might be scan related), is the picture seems a tad washed. Perhaps a polarizer might have helped. That's just my opinion, but other than that the picture is awesome.
