Graphically, this is an amaizing shot... the colors, the shapes of the balloons, the effect of the wide angle shot... Lighting is very difficult, but you managed to expose it perfectly... Composition is outstanding... But, the charcter, is over acting to my taste!... probably, because usually balloons are assucaited with happyness, and kids... a look like this is (to me again) way to far from the hero player subject in the photo
A terrific street portrait, especially due to your wonderful capture of such an expression. The intense eyes and dark face, in contrast to the bright balloons is captivating. Excellent job at exposing such a variety of lights and darks, while retaining excellent detail in the whole range. The composition is also outstanding - at first I thought better to not have the top orange balloon cut off, but the more I look, the more it works, as the tighter crop applies to all four edges of the frame, and really gives a candid, unstaged feel to the image. And all of the colorful elements merely act as an ususual frame for that incredible face. A great image!
