Tanya, beautiful window photo. Everything works so well in here. I do like the crop, but I agree that the dark areas are too strong. Maybe you could improve it in PS, without loosing your crop.

Beautiful photo! I'm a big fan of deterioration. The contrast between the texture of cracking paint and smooth glass is wonderful. Composition is good and I find myself present with that perspective angle. The yellow and blue also make a good color contrast. The only thing I might change is to crop out the dark shadow at the top of the picture.

I like the textures, the color and above everything, the perspective.
However the crop leaves me wondering what is above that window! :)
