I am so pleased to see you back again sweetie but so sorry to learn that you are controlled by health problems. Like Roger I too suffer from those frailties that arrive with older age. This is a beautifully composed shot of cattails with a superb dof to enhance the subject. Lovely subtle colour tones and a good balance to this pleasing return to us here on UF. Take care of you sweet Jessie.....my very best wishes to you as always and a big hug.....Rayx;)

Hey Jessie . . . Pleased to see you back . . . and with a spirit at least that is free from all disability! Focus, color and DOF are spot-on . . . and create a pleasing feel for the fall season. The focal point cattail is off center along the horizontal plane, but I think I'd have moved it lower by raising the bottom crop a little bit . . . maybe even pull in the left side too to keep the pleasing balance you've created. Anyway, just a sugesstion for your consideration . . . you've gotten very good with that D80 quite quickly . . . and certainly given an image which makes a fine addition to this project.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

I like your selective focus here Jessie, and you've got good detail in the one cattail you've singled out. Hope your feeling better and can get out for more of your great shots! Dave.

Jessie, I'm sorry to hear you have disabilities, and that they've giving you problems. No one would have guessed from your bright, cheery comments! My disabilities are those that come with age... hearing loss being the most trying for those around me! But as they say, better the problems of old age than the alternative. [grin]
