Awesome gradient in the sky. The clear, cloudless sky makes a great contrast to the detail of the trees. I like the placement of the vanishing point on the very edge of the photo.

Awesome line that takes the viewer down the lane/canal. Very strong composition.
I really like IR-images, but I don´t have a camera so I can make them myselves

Of the 2, I prefer this one peter (both great shot tho') I love the symmetry of the trees, and the fact that you have positioned the angle of the canal(?)allowing a strong focus on the trees, while adding a great line of focus through the image and into the distance...
