About	Legend has it that Blues Legend Robert Johnson met the devil here at the Crossroads and received his guitar talent. This is the Intersection of Hghwys 61 & 49 in the town of Clarksdale, MS. Legend concludes that he met his death by allegedly being poisoned by the owner of a "jook joint" he was playing in because he was flirting with the owners wife. He was said to be "on all fours baying like a hell hound" moments before he died in 1938, no one really knows where he is buried.
