I know about the pole, but I couldn't get any closer without disturbing the sheep. They are Drenten Heathsheep, oldest and very rare Dutch breed. I took several photo's, but when the sheep see someone they don't know, they scatter around. The blue and red spots mean that the ram got to them on different times, so the shepherd will know when the lambs are being born. They strap this colored block on the ram and when he jumps....you have a colored rear. At the moment I've about 27 of those sheep. You will see them here from time to time, because they are beautiful.

I like what's going on in this image. I would have liked to have seen you get a little closer and waited until that wooden post was out of the frame. Maybe gotten slightly more of a side view to get a glimpse of the man's face too. Are those goats? Why are their rear ends painted red and blue?
