Thanks Christine. Almost all over town it STILL looks like the Transamerica building is the tallest. Must be some sort of illusion. This is from floor 52 of the Bank of America Building (555) and it's open to the public!! Lucky with the weather......78 degrees farenheit and clear.... Who woulda' guessed? Thanks for the comments!

I like this color version the best, Doyle. It is a nice sunny day--( if you took this in summer you found the 4 hour window of no fog downtown;), impressive!) and you've captured a nice array of colors, which works very well here. I think that it just LOOKS nicer, plus, it makes me want to explore the photo more. For instance, I've never known that there were so many roof top gardens in the City, and I think I see some on the lower right. I wouldn't have noticed that with the monotone shots.
Very nice :) I was trying to pick out the building you shot these series of highup shots from when I was on the Bay Bridge the other day (don't worry, I was a passenger!)... I remember when the Transamerica Building (the pyramid one here) was the tallest in the City. No more, I guess. Nicely done. I enjoy it, thank you for sharing it.

Thanks Phillip . . . Appreciate the choice . . . --- I know how difficult it can be at times to choose which of MY pictures is Best! LoL ( hic) --- That brings six for color - six for Sepia - and two for B&W . . . Guess I know what I need to work on, Huh?

Bedankt Riny, mijn vriend.

Thanks very much for the help Jan. I really appreciate hearing and seeing the choices people are making and the ever so important why that you so eloquently provided was a great bonus. I was torn myself but I tend to agree with you about the Sepia . . . though to be fair . . . it is a slightly different perspective!
The B&W has a whole different 'feel' to it, In my opinion, and seems to be less emotive and more stark which would explain the appeal it carries . . . Or the lack of appeal to some. Your comment on the color version is a perfect explanantion why . . . to me . . . it has a lower place in the scale of things . . . i.e., limited range. I know, of course, full color has it's own appeal to many but the one thing I have enjoyed is seeing who chooses which, and why. Thanks ever so much for your help! I've made certain to mark your comment as 'Good' . . . even though it was great for me . . . but they don't seem to have a 'Great for Doyle' Button. :)

My vote is for #1; obviously a personal preference instead of an artistic absolute (is there such a thing?). The sepia seems to "pop" more to me and has an overall effect whereas the B&W is "dull" by comparison and the color one makes no real significant contribution because the actual color range looks limited and not very zesty. --Regards, Jan
